This movie is going to be fun, and we need more with strong, female characters who lead the charge.  To those who predicted thatThe Hunger Gameswould not make money because Katniss is a female, I hope you crawl back into the hole from which you came.

PBS does Dickens

It is always the endeavor of PBS to make great novels into mediocre or okay specials.  I hope that this review is not nearly as accurate as it sounds, but I also have been burned by PBS’ Masterpiece Theatre before.  I loveGreat Expectationsand Dickens, meaning that I will watch this production either way, but here’s to hoping that it is three hours not wasted.
